Find out more about Claire Barker:
Claire Barker is the author of two award-winning children’s series; Knitbone Pepper and Picklewitch and Jack. Her books have been translated into many languages, exploring the universal themes of friendship, magic and the natural world.
For several years she lived on a happy and chaotic little farm surrounded by an array of animals. At the same time she worked as a teaching assistant in her children’s local primary school; two things that turned out to be an endless source of inspiration. She now paints and writes stories in a shepherd’s hut in the peace of her Devon garden.
