
Getting Started
1. Choose an arts activity to do at home.
The Creative Challenges have been provided by local artists using materials that you should be able to find at home.
2. Complete the Arts Award Log Book.
Complete a simple form to show what you have learned about art through doing your Creative Challenge.
3. Record what you have been doing.
You can use whatever materials you like to record your activities; writing, drawing, painting, taking photos - just get creative and take photos of what you make for your certification.
4. Send off for your certificate
When you have completed all 3 parts of Discover at Home and gathered together your evidence e.g. photos and log book, you are ready to claim your official Arts Award Discover certificate from Trinity College London. You will need an adult to help you with this stage and to make the payment of £6.00 to cover the cost of your official certificate and postage/packing*

What is Discover at Home?
Discover at Home is a special on-line version of Arts Award Discover, the first level of Arts Award.
It is aimed at children aged 11 and under (or anyone under 25 with additional needs). Arts Award Discover at Home is a fantastic way for children to be rewarded for the creative activities they enjoy.
Encouraging children to
- take part in arts activities
- find out more about an artist or arts organisation
- share their arts discoveries
It’s a great option for parents & carers who may be looking for something different to keep children engaged and entertained.
