All of our libraries have a dedicated ‘teen’ section with a range of resources including popular series, manga, graphic novels and non-fiction titles. A number of our libraries also run homework clubs and have a range of resources available to help young people with their studies. See what’s on at your local library on our events page.

The Reading Well books have been chosen by young people and health experts to help you with difficult feelings and experiences that can affect your wellbeing. These books are free to reserve and borrow from all Torbay Libraries.

- provide information and advice as well as personal stories about dealing with feelings such as anxiety, depression or stress and experiences such as bullying
We have many volunteering and work experience opportunities available in our libraries.
It’s great experience, especially if you are looking to work with children, and it is a rewarding way to support the community. If you volunteer with us you will receive a certificate and it can also count towards accreditation schemes such as the Duke of Edinburgh's Award or Arts Award. Contact your local library to find out how you can get involved.
