Alex Kittow - Chief Executive, Libraries Unlimited
In these challenging and fast changing times, Libraries Unlimited give thanks to our staff, partners, volunteers, trustees, Friends Groups and to all of our customers. Our staff are homeworking and have responded promptly and creatively to the pace of change in this current situation.
We have many positives to share such as our digital library now stocks 17,000 eBooks and 6,000 eAudiobooks, we have enabled home access to the popular Ancestry Library Edition, over 6,000 people have viewed our Bounce and Rhyme online sessions, 46% increase in digital book loans since beginning of March in Devon and our library staff are in telephone contact with their vulnerable customers.
We read all of your feedback and it's a pleasure to read what your library means to you particularly at this time. We are honoured to be serving our communities in Devon and Torbay.
